What you need to know…
The Creative Academy’s Two Months WordPress Web Design & Management Program is intended to be a comprehensive one-on-one class in web design.
It will provide basic fundamental training on how to create professional websites using this widely used content management system-driven tool. It will also involve an innovative, creative, and skillful combination of images, text, and colours to deliver standard breath-taking designs for the web.
It is a working studio class and through demonstrations, you will learn to install WordPress online and offline, set up themes, install and activate plugins, build blogs and create breath-taking designs using prebuilt themes.
By the end of these courses, you would have developed great design and development skills. You will be awarded a certificate to validate your participation upon course completion.
On successful payment, you will have access to our “FREE” development resources which may contain but are not limited to the following:
- Over 5 effective and must have standard WordPress plugins.
- 3 free WordPress themes.
- 3 Tutorial Documents (All in PDF file formats).
- Free access to Laragon and Local by WP Engine for Windows & MAMP for iOS. These are localhost server software or applications.

Basic Requirements.
Students must be computer literate. You will attend physical classes or virtually via Zoom on your laptop as this is required for practice. Joining via mobile phone is also accepted provided you have a laptop to use during class sessions as we are going to be very practical. You will need writing materials and a USB device (flash or external drive) for storage and take-away assignments.
Assessment.
Assignments/assessments will be given weekly all through to the end of the program. At the end of the Two Months Course, your accumulated skills will be tested and only students that score above average would be awarded the Certificate while the students with below-average performance will only receive Letters of Participation.
